Stick Case
The stick case is light in weight but is well-made of black vinyl-covered wood with brass-plated metal edge protectors, and a sturdy carrying handle. The lockable stick case (padlock not included) measures 18 inches long, 12 inches wide, and is a roomy 6.5 inches deep. The interior bottom half of the case is completely lined with black felt, and a snap-equipped restraint strap holds the caddie-mounted sticks in place. The upper-half of the case has plenty of room to carry music and has two snap-straps to hold music in place during transport. The case provides excellent protection for one's timpani sticks and can be ordered with or without the caddies, although the caddies are highly recommended.
Stick Caddies
The Carlisle Percussion Products timpani stick caddies measure 10 inches by 13 inches and are Ron Carlisle's own invention. They are lightweight and padded with black felt. Timpani sticks are placed under an elastic band sewn to each caddie. The caddies are designed to keep your sticks flat in the case during transport. The stick heads extend over the opposite ends of each caddie so that when the two caddies are mounted one on top of the other in the case, the felt-covered heads of the sticks do not press against each other. This helps to keep the sticks in top shape and extends their life.
